After an at-home treatment using 10% fruit acid, follow up treatments in our office using 30-70% fruit acid are conducted. The dosage applied increases from appointment to appointment. The fruit acid dissolves the top horny layer of the skin so that cell regeneration is stimulated to build new dermal tissue which appears fresher and healthier. A fruit acid peeling therapy consists of 6 sessions over several months.
